I thoroughly enjoyed being in this place. Fantastic value, room was bright, staff were super. The hotel's location was super, not far from great walks and the shrines, the 24 hour convenience stores, and all the major attractions in Nikko. It also was right on the river.

I recently stayed at Turtle Inn for a few nights during my visit to the temples and shrines in the area. The location was perfect, close to all the major attractions, and right next to a beautiful river. The best part was the private hot tubs, especially the single one which was hotter. The staff provided excellent service and the Japanese-style room was cosy and exceptionally clean. I will definitely stay again and recommend it to all my friends.
Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel was relaxing and clean, with absolutely perfect and lovely location in residential area. Location: the property was near to Kegon Falls, the lakes, and the wonderful river and surrounding green nature;)))

It was a good small hotel, nesteled in an imperial building. We walked everywhere, the location was amazing and beautiful, to historical sites.

Lovely traditional ryokan with a peaceful ambiance. The sound of the river adjacent to the hotel provided a soothing backdrop for a good night's sleep. The accommodation options were varied, ranging from beds to traditional futons on tatami mats. The baths were a highlight, offering a variety of options to soak away any tiredness. I especially loved the private tubs for a more intimate experience. The breakfast, particularly the fresh bread from a local bakery, was a delightful start to the day. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to several historical sites within walking distance, including a beautiful bridge.
While the hotel was not centrally located, it offered a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. However, the limited restaurant options nearby and infrequent evening buses made it slightly inconvenient for dining out or exploring the town after sunset.

We thoroughly enjoyed well prepared breakfasts!
Modest and big room with a beautiful view, the stuff was incredibly nice. The location was particularly good and stunning for exploring this historic area, next to three restaurants and two 24 convenience stores, and all major sights in Nikko. The place was located in a quiet street.

We loved well prepared breakfasts!
The location was particularly good and excellent, at a moderate distance from An Ornate Circa-1636 Shogun Shrine Complex. Our rooms were bright and stocked with single bed and tatami mats, for instance.

The breakfast was very very good, the room was great-sized and stocked with a beautiful view. Absolutely perfect location to attractions like Itagaki Taisuke Statue, that was minute walk from the hotel.
